Betfair wanted to create a general awareness campaign to attract new users to sports betting. To draw the attention of sports fans, we created a video featuring Manchester United players bowling... with footballs.
The "Stars and Strikes" video was featured on our microsite, where users could also go on to enter a competition by betting how many pins the Man Utd players would knock down in the second installment of the video.
We built rich media banners to drive users to the site, and also reskinned Betfair's YouTube channel as part of the campaign.
Though the site was primarily aimed at a UK audience, it was also served in 11 other languages for various European markets.
